Blackstone Stock Footage offers stock, archival, and news footage for use in advertising, film, tv, and online use, and represents the Cascom International, Inc. Select Effects Library. Blackstone needed a way to quickly allow their clients to search their extensive footage library containing nearly 80,0000 licensable video clips and stock footage.

The Blackstone Stock Footage web site required that we develop a web based video stock footage search engine that was fast, reliable and efficient.

While the first version was created using conventional programming techniques, in 2003, we enhanced and rewrote the application using our ParaCoder® code generator. The redesign took only 3 man days and yielded more then 14,000 lines of new, even more reliable code spanning 53 different ASP files. Using conventional programming techniques would have taken weeks to produce and debug the same updated application.
